The saddest thing is the $3000 35" CRT TV is pretty much what I'm watching. Mine is a HUGE 32" JVC I bought as a demo model circa 1990 for the bargain price of ~$1250. (It took 2-3 years before I finally was sent the correct remote control for it.)

I'm old. I can't bring myself to toss stuff that still works.
