10 months, 3 days...

since my last flight. 1.2 hours never felt so good. Slow flight, cross wind landings and I don't think I scared the CFI. Sure feels great to be back in the left seat. My wife won't like the bills, but I'm going to enjoy this summer.

I'm going to enjoy this summer.

Someone I know went for a first-class medical and something was amiss on the EKG so it was denied. He was under the knife for heart surgery less than 2 weeks later. After the year passed and he got his medical back, he flew about enough to make up for the year he was grounded, and I can't say I blame him! I surely would have done the same.

So, enjoy the hell out of it!
