Easy fix for all this at an uncontrolled airport just go NORDO or just don't say anything at all. You have the right to remain silent.

My prediction is autogas will be $6-7 dollars by the end of summer and 100LL will be $8-9. At our airport 100LL is $5.75. When gas prices went down they didn't change the price hoping they do the same as they go up until what is in the tank is gone. Dollar cost averaging.

Western NY. I know people think of NY they think NYC but where I am we are 40-45 minutes from the closest Walmart. The closest 3 color stop light is over 20 miles away.

Depends on what you are nervous about. I still don't like to fly when it is really bumpy. I am not nervous about it but it just isn't as much fun, for me, as when it is smooth. I hate taking passengers (other than my wife who has done it enough not to worry about the bumps) if it is bumpy...
