    Repossession

Commercial required. You are being paid to fly. Also as a wet commercial ticket his insurance might want more time or time in type than you have.

    High ramp fees?

Im hoping that "lavatory" is for them to offload a jet or twin...but if its for just using the bathroom...well I would just pee on their rug.

What's the Insurance rate for Partnerships?

I was the lowest time PPL when I was in a 4 man partnership. Insurance went up slightly..maybe $100/yrs until I had time in the plane. Also had to have 10hrs dual

How Well Do Experimental Aircraft hold their value?

Also on value and appreciation....I was watching an antiques roadshow the other day. Guy learned a piece of art bought in 1980 for 15k was worth 150k...he was ecstatic. I did a quick search and that same 15k invested in S&P type index in 1980 would be worth about 500k...so maybe he shouldn't be...

How Well Do Experimental Aircraft hold their value?

Me too. 20 years and 900 hrs on airframe, couple hundred on engine (vw). You would pay 2-3k more for just the kit, no engine than I paid for flying plane. Now I won't lie there was a little lump in my throat as I fire walled the throttle the first time. Even it had flown over 100mi to get to me.

    Wearing chute for aerobatic training

Who was the test pilot that bailed from the Bo (I think Bo) in the 80s doing STC to tank tests or some such? There is bad VHS quality cideo. He tried a few inputs, nothing then proceeded to climb the eff out while that thing spun in for another 2 or 3 minutes. That's having enough time and...

Using descriptors instead of N number

Don't *have* to use the radio so they can say what they want...:D I could care either way. I normally use N number but if there are a couple planes flying around I may use color/description so they know who to look for.

After much consternation in getting hangar space, getting plane here and getting tail wheel endorsement...I finally got to fly the plane yesterday. What a blast. Off the ground in ~200ft, climbing at about 500-1000fpm, (No VSI) so ballpark counting estimate. Cruise about 80-85mph and is very...

I know that I am wrong in thinking this way

What i want to know is how da fuq does the FAA...you know of America....tell Americans they cant flyy over Bahamian airspace? Dont feel like looking in the FAR but really??? They can control airspace above another country? Sweet lets tell the Frecnh they cant fly over France and we wont have to...

    Taildraggers

Talk about visibility issues, here's the shot from a Super Cub on 31" bush wheels... Its not that big a deal, you should keep your eyes moving in anything you fly/land.

    Taildraggers

Eff those heel brakes....I had a couple of whoah nelly moments when trying to get on the brakes and keep the plane straight. Glad my mini max has a single stick mounted brake lever. Who ever invented those heel brakes needs to be exhumed shot and buried again...:D

    Taildraggers

Id agree with Roscoe and Zeldman on a couple points. Yes we should always strive to have really good alignment, proper attitude, speed etc on every landing whether trike or tail. But its easy to get a little sloppy and suffer no consequences. Fly a taildragger that way and you wont be flying it...
