    Tankless water heater

The "capacity" issue is all about finding one that will handle the number of "appliances" that you want to use simultaneously.

    What happens after a deferral?

Ok, believe it or not, the letter has arrived already. It wasn't as nasty as I had expected, however, it says I have 30 days to submit all of the information or that it will automatically turn into a denial - however it also says I can't submit any of the information until after a 60 day...

    Plane Stolen to impress girlfriend!

I bet he's lucky they drove it into a bean field... If he got it into the air his story would have made it to the paper sooner - as his obituary!

    Ham mentors?

Ugh, I never did mind the CW requirement - I just didn't have the discipline to master it (even at a slowly 5 WPM) well enough to ever pass the test... I found a local club - and they're meeting next week. I'm going to drop in on them and see what's up around here. Maybe I'll buy new study...

    Ham mentors?

I know 5 WPM in CW is slow - but I just could never copy it very well. I tried several times in the 80's and gave up. I should give it a go again...

Night SOLO student xc - legal or not??

The way that Far Part 61 Sec 61.87(o)(1) and (2) reads, "2) Navigation training at night in the vicinity of the airport where the solo flight will be conducted; and" would lead me to believe that the instructor would have to give you night training for each specific airport you're going to...

    What happens after a deferral?

For the retinal disease statement, my doc suggested I see an eye doctor. What sort of eye doc should I seek out? Do I need the 8500-7 full eye evaluation report? When I just recently (2 weeks ago) had my eyes tested for the fight physical which was deferred, I passed all of the 20/20 vision...

    What happens after a deferral?

So I went to my AME recently and my medical wound up getting deferred. I've since gone to my family doc to get the situation under control. I think we've got a good plan there. I've also been in contact with the relevant experts - who shall remain nameless for now. ;) My question is, what's...

    Grrr medxpress.faa.gov

Finally, just after 5PM eastern I got in and got finished. My AME's office was pretty adamant about me getting that done before Friday! *whew*

    Grrr medxpress.faa.gov

Is ticking me off. For whatever reason the FAA can't handle the load on their server and it's running slower than the old PoA site - no, actually, it's unusable. I don't have time in the evening or early morning to sit and filll this stupid site out and my medical is this Friday. At this rate...

    Cessna 172M 40 degree flaps

I've found myself with the 40 in on the go part of a touch and go once or twice. Talk about pucker factor. There's a really big tree at the end of the usual RY where I fly out of too... Now when doing touch and gos I've gotten in the habit of not advancing the throttle until I see the flaps...
