Ugh, I never did mind the CW requirement - I just didn't have the discipline to master it (even at a slowly 5 WPM) well enough to ever pass the test... I found a local club - and they're meeting next week. I'm going to drop in on them and see what's up around here. Maybe I'll buy new study...

For the retinal disease statement, my doc suggested I see an eye doctor. What sort of eye doc should I seek out? Do I need the 8500-7 full eye evaluation report? When I just recently (2 weeks ago) had my eyes tested for the fight physical which was deferred, I passed all of the 20/20 vision...

Is ticking me off. For whatever reason the FAA can't handle the load on their server and it's running slower than the old PoA site - no, actually, it's unusable. I don't have time in the evening or early morning to sit and filll this stupid site out and my medical is this Friday. At this rate...

I've found myself with the 40 in on the go part of a touch and go once or twice. Talk about pucker factor. There's a really big tree at the end of the usual RY where I fly out of too... Now when doing touch and gos I've gotten in the habit of not advancing the throttle until I see the flaps...
