    Looking again the lines in the paint. You may be right about the file. No swirls. Or use a less coarse file for finishing. Definitely someone who does not know how to use a file. At least they should have squared the end of the blade. Craftsmen are getting harder and harder to find.

    Yes those planes will just mush their way down. Other planes like a mooney would flip you over in a spin to the ground. You might want to expand your data set of planes before you make sweeping generalizations.

    All this stuff they sell as "aviation" the manufacturers just source it and ink a part number on it. I believe McMaster has the inker to put the part number on things too.....

    You can get the power plug from McMaster. some welding cable and a battery from walley world. Then a charger to charge the battery. Get the mini size furniture dolly to put the battery on. Or a cheap hand truck. Put some hooks on it to wind the cable one.

    Um I thought you were going to inspect it. Bend a panel on a wing or the frame loading it onto the trailer and you just added $10,000 in cost to reskin. Bump the trailing edge of a flight control = $2000 Cause they saw a sucker coming. I bet 50% overrun in time and cost on the first work...

    Fly it on to the mains. If you get low enough with the nose up the wheels will touch first. A little more speed for rudder authority and less flaps for less getting knocked around the gusts. Or do a carrier landing and just plant the sucker.
