Yeah, my guess is these were safe separation flight tests since there was footage from either chase planes or on-board cameras. What I can't figure out is why they had another aircraft in close formation in some of the shots, unless they were testing the effect of the wake from the other...

Nice Job. Sounds like you handled it well. The one time I lost electrical power I was in severe clear 30 mins from my home airport so I was able to get home on the power remaining in the battery after I shed all non essential electrical equipment.

Looking at Sanford Maine (KSFN). It's 276 NM from KNXX. A little farther than required, but I've never flown to Maine so I'll be able to add it to my list of states visited.

Passed the Commercial written this morning :D. My long solo cross country is scheduled for next Friday. That will just leave polishing up the maneuvers. Fortunately my club's T-34s are back up so I can use them for the prep work and checkride since the FAA hasn't changed the complex...

You can do that with Log Book Pro. I've got entries with four airports in the route of flight field. I think you could add more. I'm not sure what the limit is for the field size.

It varies between 13 miles and 70 miles depending on which of three airports I fly from .
