Going out on a limb here but I’d think there is no shortage of crumpled air planes around Florida and Houston that have no human tragedies attached after the recent hurricane season. I know there are plenty in PR but it might be tricky getting to those.

I had the same issue... I sold an iPad 3rd gen for $160, and bought an iPad Air 2 for $190... best $30 upgrade to be had. Worked out so well I sold my iPad mini 2 for 140, and bought another air 2 cellular for 210 for the plane. Another great upgrade for next to nothing.

If you're financing, especially fha, good luck getting it through an appraisal.. fha will require everything to be up to snuff.

I'd say the pile of fees on a typical ticket accurately reflect that cost in the ticket prices.
