I fly in the DFW area and notice on local frequencies like 122.8, 122.9, 123 etc you hear a lot of different airport calls. My question is why don’t they have different numbers for airports within 40 miles or so? Are there not enough possible frequencies? Or is that just unusual bleed over...

We visited the Robins AFB museum this weekend. Great collection of airplanes and all sorts of aviation related items from WW2 Korean and Vietnam eras. Able to get up close and marvel at the engineering of some huge planes. If you are near there (Macon Georgia) definitely worth the trip...

Flew while on vacation in Kauai Hawaii. Great experience to see the sites from the air. Went with Wings over Kauai- Bruce the owner was really knowledgeable of all the sites. It was my wife and my first trip there and just awesome. Also helps with selling her on all the time I'm spending on...

So sorry to hear. My brother in law lives in Ramona and I have visited there a lot. Very rough and mountainous countryside. I have often worried what it would be like to have an emergency there. RIP.

With the low ceilings and cold weather I've gotten back to reading. This is a great book about a great man and leader. Grant seems Somewhat overshadowed in History but amazing story of his rise from humble start. What a great leader for that time.

I used King videos for studying for written and Sheppard for test prep. I can't say enough good things about Sheppard. Just passed test last week and their test prep was great. Just follow their study and preparation suggestions and you will pass easily.

They are true American Heroes. Btw read David McCullough's book on the Wright Bros this year. Great book and amazing story leading up to the flight. Should be required reading :)
