I met a lady who flew with Susie Air to help them in their backcountry techniques. She said she was really let down when that show came out. Not an accurate representation of how Susie works.
Personally, I think the flying is cool but the show's injected drama is overkill.

Waiting for passengers. The storm blew right on top of us as soon as they arrived. Hail, wind, and rain. Then once the worst of it ended, I fired up, waited for favorable winds, and gunned it.
Yep, seems like a typical spring. I grew up near Roswell, NM and remember those winds over 60 mph taking down pivot sprinklers and knocking semi trailers over. Rough area and I have heard West Texas is extra dry right now.
I thought initial callup should be identity, location, and request. Is that what you are talking about or are they reciting their first 40 years of life on call up?
Wood stove is the only way to bake but there is a propane cooktop hidden next to the refrigerator. I don't typically cook on the propane because this time of year there is always a fire going if we are home.
I've heard of it before and actually met a photographer who used to do it. It was a much cooler deal before Google Earth. You need to have her sit on the porch with a shotgun like they do in Second Hand Lion.
