    Ideas for my next tattoo?

Heard a lady on the radio the other day that said she had a scorpion tattoo just above her bikini line. She said that it turned into a lobster when she got pregnant.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Guy I worked with won big in Vegas. I forget how much, but enough to live off of for a good while. He called one of the local FM morning shows who then called our HR and put the call on the air. Except that it was too early and they got voice mail. He said "Hi this is so-and-so, I quit". We...

What callsign for Piper Cherokee derivatives?

Same thing for Cessna. Anything from a 150 to a 210. Can't say I've heard many 210's referred to as "Centurion N1234"

What callsign for Piper Cherokee derivatives?

If I fly a 90's Tiger (American General) I, and most people I hear, call it a Grumman. When flying a Debonair I've been called a Bonanza, which is understandable. When flying a Bonanza I've been called a Debonair and even a Baron.

    That good old ‘Vacating’ topic

While all of that is legal, I'm not sure it's the safest strategy. You should get a tour of SoCal Tracon. You'll learn that they prefer talking to you.

How to hand prop a Cirrus (A Satire)

Did you put 'dead' in quotes or did they? There's dead as in the lights won't even come on and then there's depleted as in not quite enough oomph to overcome compression.

Plus it's a 24V battery so you can't put a car battery charger on it.

(N/A) Things that have gone by the wayside

The speaker or the drive in? The drive in isn't completely dead. I think there's two in San Diego. A couple of years ago a company put a blow up screen on a large lot that you could watch from your car or you could set out chairs in front of the cars. I can't remember how they did the audio...

Missing in Action: Lightning Strike, all is chaos

I used to make a pretty good living replacing line receiver/driver chips in telco mux cards. Sometimes they were conveniently already blown off the board.

Guy Jumps from Plane at 25,000 Feet Without A Parachute

The formula for distance traveled under constant acceleration or deceleration is d= V^2/2a. If you assume 10 g's which is uncomfortable for sure but shouldn't cause injury, a = 322ft/s^2. 120 mph is 120*5280/3600 = 176f/s Thus 176^2/2*322 = 48'. Unless I'm not thinking of this correctly.
