    [rant]Sports Drivel[/rant]

It's really just a joke, it most likely doesn't have anything to do with it. Nor does really anything other than he was making a lot of noise.

    [rant]Sports Drivel[/rant]

There's a show that comes on espn called skip and Shannon that sounds just like what you are describing. It sent my dad into a bit of a tirade one time at Buffalo Wild Wings. It turns out when a six foot five black man starts yelling at the tv, people aren't opposed to changing the channel.

How to fly with 60lb golden retriever?

I only flew with a dog once, a 110Lb German shepherd. Unfortunately, it ended with my father and I cleaning Substantial amounts of dog vomit out of the back seat of an archer. On my dad's birthday... Not trying to discourage you, i would totally fly with our newest dog if I got the chance to, I...

    Would you have declared?

I most likely would have, even if at the time it seemed unnecessary. In my experience it's never one thing that causes an accident in aviation, it's a series of things. This could have the first step in that series and it was definitely a good thing for them to do, to declare for you, even if it...

    Scared of my instructor

I'm a cfi, and while I don't do it but two days a week if that, so I'm not under the stress of doing it daily. I've only raised my voice to a student one time, and that was because he put the plane into a spin on power on stall practice and didn't let go of the controls when I asked. I would...

    That Guy...

That guy who sits in the stall next to you and precedes to talk on his phone or watch a video, with the volume turned up, laughing, while you're doing your buisness.

Flight Instructors - Did/Do you enjoy the job?

I do it on the side mainly because I want to do it. If you are just looking to build time and don't really care about teaching(not insinuating you do) don't do it. It's important to teach people right, and it's important that they take it seriously and study, which some of them don't do...

Where to get the most for the $$$ Multi training

Honestly 5-7 hours is really all you need for it. I got mine in a Beechcraft Barron in just under eight hours, about $3500. That was my favorite part of flight training so far too, I love that plane. I'm flying single engines exclusively for now and really want to get into a multi engine again

Did your parents/family support your journey to get a sport pilot or private pilot license?

My parents are both very supportive of me deciding to fly. But they never helped my pay for any of it, I worked two jobs, one full time and one part time to pay for all my training, as well as giving bass guitar lessons on the side for a little play money. The most support I've gotten is advice...
