    That other G6 Cirrus

Doesn't the SR-20 TCDS now include the IO-390? I'm making an analogy to the 7ECA 150hp conversions... Perhaps (likely) an oversimplification. Going EX isn't what I'm talking about...

As a serious question, what would this take?

    Garmin G5 STC-ed for HSI

For all Garmin glass, magenta indicates steer-to/fly-to information (both numeric and graphic indications). Pretty easy to recognize what's going on, RTFM, YMMV, ect ect... It would be nice if the G5 would directly drive an autopilot and/or display FD information, but, one step at a time.

    Glad I don't have a Decathlon..

    Highly unlikely.

    Glad I don't have a Decathlon..

It's a small minority of the fleet and the inspection is straightforward. Only one airplane has had a failure AFAIK. Biggest issue here is a poorly worded AD imo.

    Climbing at the Gunks?

Necropost, but I I have some new and relevant information... Rode the Trail of Tears area on Cape Cod yesterday; Immediately off of the Cape Cod airfield - easy access to some pretty decent mountain biking. http://www.nemba.org/trails/massachusetts/trail-tears

    Unwanted Calls

I used to get these calls. I'd be fine with sending any number I don't have in my contacts to voicemail (texts from unknown numbers already get pushed to a separate folder)) but Apple hasn't added this feature. Fortunately, iOS 10 allows apps label and/or block calls, so scam-number databases...

    Garmin G5 STC-ed for HSI

Wow. The HSI rebuilding industry just took a hit. I recently helped a friend install a G5 in his Mooney. Game-changer.

EAA bringing the TruTrak Vizion autopilot to certified aircraft

All tru trak equipment is currently for experiemental use, and they have both varieties; The approved systems will be a traditional servo-on-controls style, afaik.

    OSH incident

The girls there aren't my type, but twice now I've started conversations at the SOS tent that have led to interviews. :)

    Which "New" iPad for Foreflight

Air 2 (if you can fit it) or Mini 4. Same price, same great screen, slightly better processor (and screen real estate) in the Air. I stuck with the Mini, but space is at a premium in my Diamond, and I already have plenty of glass - the iPad is primarily just for approach plates.

    Flying Club Bill Pay System

We use Sharezen to keep the accounting up to date and each member has their own way to transfer money (electronically) and credits themselves for the payment. I end up summing up the transactions every few months just to keep things honest. For a club of your size I'd really want some sort of...

    Understanding maintenance cost?

Some good points here on how to manage the costs; #1 is being involved, informed, and proactive. Still not going to be cheap, and every plane has its weaknesses.

    Understanding maintenance cost?

Have you seen the invoices for these annuals? I'm going through a similar analysis (forming new partnership coming from DA-40 and vintage Mooney, going to 90's Mooney/early TKS-equipped SR22) with TKS. Assuming that he had a good year and the base annual cost is $4k (already high), I suspect...
