    Engineering?

If I had to guess where I fit into the Scott Adams universe, it would probably be the dog.

    Engineering?

My first two years were working on machinery to make saran wrap and dry cleaning bags. My weirdest two years included doing organ transplants on pigs. My best-paid two years have been doing damn near nothing.

For Sale New Hampshire Airpark Home

Runway or not, too much $$ to justify living in that part of the world unless you're on the lake or closer to the mountains, IMO. I spend a good amount of time in Croydon.... Knowing some of the people there, I'd be careful how loudly you say that! :) You'd be lucky if you could cover your...

What would you want to see at your local EAA chapter's meetings?

Fewer meetings. More gatherings. "A meeting is an assembly of people, either by chance or by prior arrangement. This is the most generic term that covers the coming together of two or more people. A gathering is a meeting or an assembly held especially for a social or festive purpose" Perhaps...

    Proactive battery replacement?

Are you regularly checking the electrolyte levels (60-90 days)? Are you using a minder or another appropriate charger periodically as well? Have you checked the capacity recently?

    Aviator’s Timepiece

Big fan of mine (engagement present), but I have a few others that get wrist time - particularly a Torgoen which I think was a really good value. Citizen Nighthawk is a recent purchase I’m enjoying.

    Anyone decent with SolidWorks?

I’m a couple years rusty but glad to help too. Can’t really visualize your issue, but contour selection (multiple features from same sketch) can be a bit wonky until you get used to it. Big fan of OnShape now.

What does POA think of the Kitfox?

Parents neighbor in Maine built one on floats, as well as a trike. Solid machine - would love one. Don’t ignore the Rans line as well

    Millennials

Funny thread. I'm a borderline millennial who can rebuild carbs and just sold a motorcycle to a millennial pilot that promptly adjusted the valves and had to tear the carbs down to make an adjustment. You won't catch me with a landline phone in my hands though, and I seethe when people call me...

    More frustrating wx...

Bummer. Conditions around here have been on/off great for "Gentlemen's IFR" for about a week - doubled my time in actual, plus some more as a safety pilot (sorta)!

    Complex Time in a "TAA"?

As long as it can be driven by the heading bug and gpss, it’s ok. your KAP140 scenario is correct. “Integration” refers to the connectivity. Yours truly asked the same question here: https://bruceair.wordpress.com/2017/11/05/new-simulation-and-training-rules-due-in-december-2017/#comment-4186...

Part-time OK? My partner (former Dart instructor, fellow PPL/IR) and I have done a few contracts recently. Scott

    Climbing at the Gunks?

I'm quite out of shape, and currently don't have an airplane, but I'm up for this!
