    AA5 Cheetah Wings

I think if I were more versed in this I might take a risk, but I don't have the pockets for a this much of a project plane.

    AA5 Cheetah Wings

Hmm. I also noticed that the stated cruise airspeed is between 100 to 110 knots, that sounds a little slow, what do you guys typically get and if compressions are in the 70's what would cause the discrepancy?

    AA5 Cheetah Wings

I am looking at a Cheetah for sale and notice that it has 10,000 hours on it and is currently used by a flight school. The price reflects this condition and I can overlook interior and paint and even engine time (maybe) but what worries me is the 12,000 limited wing life. How expensive is...

IFP on the ACS for IFR

Thanks for the link. I am a little confused as it seems to cover the same material that the TPP does. Ill have to dig around it a little more. This is definitely new material to me and I haven't come across references to it in the 8083 publications yet.

What is the best way to study for the Instrument Written Test?

I am thinking of ditching the prepared test prep options and study using the ACS which lists the source under each task. Is there anything that will bite me doing this?

Hi, I am thumbing through the ACS for instrument and noting the sources for each Task. I am not sure what they are referring to when they note "IFP" as a source. I.e what do I need to gleen from this source and what exactly is it. Thanks!

    ATC IFR Untowered airfield

Yes, that is what I am used to hearing in VFR world. So IFR is similiar in terms of hand off. That is helpful, thanks for the thorough response

    ICAO cold temp error table

Now I see where I went wrong, I assumed they used radar to find my “true” altitude but they are using my mode c transponder which doesn’t compensate for cold. Thanks for clearing that up.
