What is foot ball??.. and what is a Super Bowl?.... If it goes 200 mph and at least turns left I'm interested... Otherwise it is a waste of time. It is the best weekend to go out to the sand dunes and ride the quads!...

    My first annual

ACF-50 corrosion treatment inside the fuselage and wings / tails... pull the wing / tails tips and make up a sprayer to apply it inside... may have to vacuum out some dirt and wasp nests first... and then wipe up the oil as it leaks out the seams for weeks... meaning it is getting between...

If today's Military needed to build a better SR-71 Blackbird do you think they can pull it off?

There currently are sensors and cameras that are the same or better flying in the RPV aircraft that we build... they stay aloft a lot longer, and at a much lower cost. and Pilots with their sensor operators are safely in a Conex box somewhere out in the desert. Not getting shot at..... Fun...

Yes the Archer II and above has the 2550 gross, but the older 180's were 2400 to 2450. The POH that is with my plane is for a Cherokee 180 "E", with the listed gross weight being 2400. back in 1971 when the change was made, there were not a lot of Archers around!.,.. Would sure like to have...

Piper Warrior - Major overhaul options for high-time engine

The paperwork states " All parts required to converted to a 180", and the new weigh and balance uses 2400 gr weight, so that is what I plan for ... 1296 empty weight so there is enough to make this bird really useful. The one thing that I'm not sure on is what nose strut is in the plane, and...

    Opinions of a Fisher FP-303?

2500 for a Fisher 303 is a good price... the motor is ok, not a ton of power but will pull it around... I like them and would also like to get something like that, or an Airbike, to just kick around the clouds in ...

Help me get over stall anxiety

I had the same fear of stalls early on also... I hated doing them, and always pushed away from them. It als make s a difference in what type of aircraft your in... PA-28's are mushy, and not a fast clean brake. my current aircraft is nose heavy, so stalls are really mushy and a non-event...

The City of El Monte had a counsel meeting with a map showing the El Monte airport as a sports park... thinking that the space would be better served as a soccer park.. They said," it is the citys airport so the city can say what to do with it"... Not so, county property and a county...
