Bose A20 ga plug too skinny

Thanks for the replies and the sex jokes:) I fly both R22 and GA Airplanes. I use airplane headsets with a GA to Helicopter adapter. I just got the headsets a couple days ago and I plugged them into the adapter. I haven't actually tried them in an airplane yet. But the adapter should be the...

Bose A20 ga plug too skinny

Just got new Bose a20 with ga plugs. The mic plug is a little skinny. I have a ga to helicopter Adapter that I pigged it into, and it just keeps falling out. When I try other ga headset plugs, they all fit in tightly and stay in. The plug also has a slightly Different shape than all the other...

    Bose Aviation X

Used "great condition" A20's for $550 on ebay. Non BT. Just bought one. I can always swap the cord for the BT for $300. Still good deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bose-A20-Aviation-Headset-Non-Bluetooth-/282306638574?hash=item41bac972ee:g:LykAAOSwtnpXjWud&vxp=mtr

Just wow! This guy just can't get his clearance right

I had one years ago in KBED. I filed IFR to KTEB. Night, cold and snowing. Anyway, I called CD, and he gave me the clearance. I don't care if it was the most experienced pilot in the world that doubled as a handwriting teacher. Nobody, but nobody could have written as fast as this guy was...

Commercial Rotorcraft/Helicopter Add-On to Commercial Airplane.

Yes, I think that's what I was missing. I am going to a 141 school. So it seems as though the answer is 30hours of flight time. Thanks for the tips.

Commercial Rotorcraft/Helicopter Add-On to Commercial Airplane.

Hehe, that's the school I am using. Small world;) 30hours is what their site says too for the add-on. But that seemed to conflict with what I read in the regs.

Commercial Rotorcraft/Helicopter Add-On to Commercial Airplane.

I think it is 61.129c, which I don't find clear. Maybe its just me. 100 hours in a powered aircraft, which I have. 50 of which must be in a helicopter. So If I am just starting out in helicopters, then I have to have at least 50 hours of training/solo? Then in #2, it says that I have to have...

Garmin GDL 39 pressure alt has me on the moon

That's exactly what it is used for. But look at the link that RotorDude posted. It is Garmin's website that has the user manual (not the PDF version( that clearly states that it has a PA sensor. So then back to my original question. Why is it showing me on the moon?

    Garmin Pilot Jeppesen IFR maps?

I called them just now, and they said it is a know issue that Garmin is working on to fix. So that is good news I guess.

Garmin GDL 39 pressure alt has me on the moon

Look in the manual: I can't post links since I am a new member. Page 4, the last red colored warning. It talks about pressure altitude provide by the GDL. You can also search google for GDL39 pressure altitude sensor, you will see a variety of forums with people mentioning it. Beechtalk.com...

Garmin GDL 39 pressure alt has me on the moon

According to multiple aviation websites/forums, and Garmin user manual, it does have a pressure altitude sensor. I have the 3d model, maybe that's the difference. In the ios Garmin pilot app, I don't see pressure altitude indicated anywhere, however, the altitudes of the traffic that it shows...
