haha, buddy of mine that flies a malibu must have logged 10,000 hours in his ultra light, it must be a thing with those pilots because he said everytime he took it out he did a dead stick landing on one of the neighbors grass strip.

Didn't the FAA make boeing use a door that has to seal without the use of pressure from the inside like a cork? In turn, allowing a door to yeet itself midflight like this?

Like I tell all my friends who want to be pilots and are going to a tough time....don't go to the doc and seek help. The FAA is just going to punish you. Just drown your emotions with alcohol but don't drink and drive.

are you taking the SSRIs right now? there is a path way with SSRI use and the FAA only allows some, which is odd, because Drs don't even know how the meds even work, but there is a pathway. Much easier if you have been off of them. I think if you take them it's a bit more PITA...

the COGscreen is a terrible way to screen someone for The FAA....your driving records it 100 times more valuable

I think you really just need more practice with the GPS....all the ones I have seen are absolutely terrible when it comes to making adjustments on the fly. For example, in my boat I have a 16" screen, makes seeing things and fixing things easy....most of the old stuff in out planes are like...

I am about twice that CFIs age, and he was rail roading the student pilot, If I were checking safety things on an airplane and some 22 yo hot shot CFI was fiddle ****ing with his social media and calling me names...I would have told him to get wrecked and left.

Lets say you want to fly from KGAO to KISM just in a straight line...you got your snorkel gear on just in case you need to splash down. I know you would have to file a flight plan...but are there any other issues?
