I think if a person was buying, the cirrus has a lot going for it. All good planes. My order would be 1. Cirrus. 2. Beech. 3. 182. I like the speed and don't do bunch of local casual flying.

I think it is a great deal, depending on paint and avionics. Assuming all mechanical and airframe is decent. I bought a 1960 172. Flew it for 3 or so years. Sold it for what I had in it. Person I sold to flew it for 3 years and they are asking 1500 more than they paid.

I've had a 172 that I burned Mogas in all the time. It seemed to like it better. Never had any problems with it. Could fly for $18 per hour with it. Was sweet.

In a 172 type plane one of those moniters would buy a lot of gas.

I'm around some with 20000 hrs and most people wouldn't know. Depends how they were taken care of.

I kind of think your talking about pa46 class. I have less in this plane than I did the Columbia 350, 2006 I had before it. These older ones are quite affordable. Even a a36 beech is going to be in the 250g neightborhood.

It's amazing when you get used to decending into the pattern at around 200 kts that you can get it slowed down to plop down speeds in the pattern.

Have dealt with several planes with expired registrations. You did it exactly right and everything will be just like a normal sale. Now for the current owner to renew expired is about impossible. You will have new reg in normal time

I had emergency one time and lost everything so used the iPad. Was the beginning of my best landings. Worked pretty well.

I use the pressure altitude to reference my cabin altitude. I fly a pressurized plane mostly and it shows the altitude inside plane which I usually find to be within 25 ft of my other gauges which show altitude of cabin. Also shows how fast altitude changes when it's dumping or I'm climbing...

I let a friend of mine use my planes when he wants. He pays for any extra on insurance as named pilot and go's thru annual training, which he pays for, required by insurance company. He helps me out on ipc's and checkrides and such. I'm sure if plane broke while he was flying he would help out...

I flew in a 172 yesterday and every time I get in them after my 205 which is like a 182 sorta, I forget how much smaller inside they are and how much difference the extra power makes.
