Yes, but as others said you will need to get it at some point for compliance. The waas is going to give you more options in Instrument conditions.
For what it's worth the DA40 I currently train in does not have waas I really wish it did.
I still went with yes but my feelings were altered.
I think if it is not practical or safe to fly in actual for a few hours, you have to fly at night for a few hours in conditions that require flight by instruments without the need for view limiting devices. IE dark away from city lights...
