What plane would you buy in my situation?

My Mooney has a pull to drain that is just behind the nose gear door. I have a 3D printed holder for a GATS jar that clamps to gear door right under drain. But the wing tanks also have standard push up drains.

Mooney wing is close the ground. Sump is fairly far back on the wing.

My first 6 hours continuous flight - need advice

Oh, I don't "drink" water on long flights. I take a sip every so often and hold it in my mouth for a bit. Keeps my mouth moist. Helps the hydration. And limits the need to pee.

    Food Caused Dizzyness?

Last time I had a food illness, I contact the local health department via their website. Next day I got a call from a food inspector that told me they went to the store and found one of their fridges (containing chicken) was too warm. Store got to throw EVERYTHING from that fridge out.

Looking for info on less lethal/non lethal self defense products

I wouldn't start them with it, but the first time I took mine to the range, I put 200 rounds through it. Only reason I stopped was that was all I had with me. I would never had thought I would put 200 rounds through a subcompact in a single range session.

Looking for info on less lethal/non lethal self defense products

Yes, Jeff Cooper. I first read it in Cooper on Handguns. The way I recall it is: "If it will make you feel better to carry it, go ahead. But do not load it. If you load it, you might shoot at someone. And if you shoot at someone, you might hit them. And this will make them very mad at...

Tach to Hobbs conversion for logging

Airlines and military start with the chocks in place. Ground crew pulls the chocks just before start of taxi or pushback. So chock to chock IS proper for them. I guess if you wanted to be technical, airline pilots should not be logging push back unless they power back. :D

    USPS strikes again!

That may not help. I ordered a new phone. Shipped next day, 2 day delivery. They tried to deliver on the proper day, but I was not home to sign. Then the package disappeared. No tracking scans, no idea where it was. UPS Supervisor told me to file a claim, NO idea where it was, probably...

Actually block to block is also chock to chock. First movement to last movement. https://www.isarsoft.com/knowledge-hub/block-time#:~:text=The%20Block%20time%20is%20sometimes,on%20after%20reaching%20parking%20position. https://www.cirium.com/thoughtcloud/block-time-airline-schedules/...

My first 6 hours continuous flight - need advice

Better than a bottle is Travel John or Moodooy They are bags with a gelling agent, so after a short time, no liquid to spill. And you will not grab one thinking it is a something to drink. :D Both work well for men. A female friend likes the Moodooy better, as the opening is more flexible...

What plane would you buy in my situation?

Mooney factory is still making parts, the ones made in house. The issue can be getting parts that are sourced from other companies, but that is not a huge deal in most cases. High wing - easier to sump tanks, easier to get into, can bash head Low wing - easier to check fuel, difficult to sump...

Tach to Hobbs conversion for logging

It depends a lot on the type of flight. I just did a 7.0 XC flight, non-stop. If I had cruised at 2500 RPM, the tach and Hobbes would have been the same for takeoff until entering the pattern. So 1.2x tach would have been a good bit more (8.4 logged). But a flight all in the pattern, might...

20 GPH would be leaned. If they did not lean, they could be at 30 GPH. Yes, not full tanks is also very possible.
