Are the windows in the “top side” a “side”?

I just wet sanded out some serious nicks and pockmarks (wing cover hook got loose) in my windshield with the Micromesh system and it worked great. But you can get similar results just with wet dry sandpaper. Just keep everything wet and use lots of water to clear off what's been sanded out...

    Flight Bag Recommendations?

Personally, I went to Value Village/Salvation Army and bought a small samsonite duffel bag thing that had a side pocket that is iPad sized and I can put everything else inside the bigger pocket. If I need more space, I'd get one of the tactical bags. I just don't have that much stuff. Before...

    Dry Lease Question

True, true. I was thinking Hobbs time for rentals. It's definitely a case by case basis sort of thing depending on the plane, billing methods, etc. But if I'm renting a plane wet on the hobbs, why would I throttle back unless I'm just out for a sightsee cruise?

    Dry Lease Question

If I'm not paying for fuel separately, I may be tempted to firewall it to get to my destination a few minutes early. If I'm paying for fuel, I may be tempted to lean the plane so much I run the engine dangerously hot if I'm not leaning properly.
