Would you choose to ditch a fixed gear in water?

IMHO, Here's a recent ditch done right... 20 yards off and parallel to shore, no flip or cartwheel. http://www.king5.com/news/local/small-plane-crashes-in-water-off-west-seattle/460801256

    Vulcanair 1.0

Very nice and fills a niche. 'Looks like a competitor for the Flight Design C4, which is back on track for production, with FD picking up new owners in Germany. Both planes are $250k-ish.

    Wifi Range Extenders

I prefer the Google Wifi.... mesh solution. Single SSID, handles 2/5GHz issues, good and fast, easy setup. https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2017/05/29/google-wifi-review-best-home-router/#1458d8295c9f https://www.cnet.com/products/google-wifi/review/...

    [NA]PC cleanup[NA]

We no longer use spybot, as it reports things that aren't malware, and misses many that are.... Defrag needn't be run often at all, as you'd have to go months before you would notice any difference. BTW, Win 7 and later is automatically set to defrag once a week. Slowness has to be related to...

    Alaska/Canada Adventure

They were stuck in Dawson City for a couple of days, due to weather and low clouds. Good spot to be stuck, plenty to do and see. But they're back in the air... Fairbanks today? Wrong, it looks like they're heading to Northern Yukon, and/or a visit with Sue at Kavik. Wrong again, they've veered...

Would you choose to ditch a fixed gear in water?
