    Current on all but "holding"

Coming up on 6 months since I got the rating, and I notice I'm not having any trouble staying legally current with the exception of 'holding'. I'm gonna look at the reg, but in grasping for a straw, the thought occurs to me - does it specifically say that the hold has to be done while IMC...

    Gaston's lost and found

Michele left a light green "Gaston's" coffee cup. I found a set of car keys in my plane. One of the folks to whom I gave a plane ride must've left'em. Think I'll just mail'em to Gaston's. Valuable thread!

Whats the deal with flap gap seals?

BTW, I was told by previous owner that my Cessna 150L cruised at 112mph before the complete STOL kit (including flap gap seals); And it now cruises at 117mph. (And will slow fly near 35!)

    Gastons Braille1 Arrival.

I think....:dunno: ...like ALL things aviation, it's a matter of personal limitations and knowing thyself. Of a hundred flyers, there are probably 4 or 5 who are current, proficient, and comfortable with night-time ops on unlit grass strips; to the extent that for them, the level of risk...

    The problem with Gastons

Now THAT's well said! Only been once, but I can tell, Diana IS Gaston's. The friendliness (of the place and the people that come) gave delightful mimicry of Diana's wonderfully sweet persona :blowingkisses: Anywhere else could/would be another fly-in and therefore grand, but it wouldn't be...

    The problem with Gastons

My impressions: (Other than those I do for my kids...) Great location for the gathering; Could do with other thirds of the country so others could more easily participate. I felt guilty for being so close. Great facility; pool, tennis, pet friendly, trails, river with boats/fishing, game...

We all say something similiar to that, too... 10 years ago, it wouldn't have bothered ANY of us! :P
