What’s the person per plane ratio? I’m the only way I could see a monthly rate like that is if all the planes are hangared and the person to plane ratio is 2:1 or less.

Now I have a new challenge for this winter.

I was flying back from Oshkosh and was VFR south of Indy and unable to climb up to my desired altitude due to clouds. I was already on flight following and it was the easiest pop-up IFR I’ve done. Got to do about an hour in the clouds. Keep the pop-up in mind if you don’t file.

Did the DPE give you the FAR he was basing those answers on? I always thought that if the pilot did not supply the plane that both of those scenarios would be legal as a commercial pilot.

I’ve noticed some restrictions to free speech in some other threads so I decided to create this one.

So far my favorite was the Air Force museum in Dayton. I was a bit disappointed in the San Diego Air museum. The Beechcraft museum and EAA museum hands down near the San Diego museum. It still had some cool airplanes but after visiting the Dayton museum San Diego felt tiny.

My takeaway is that a Mooney can go where a Cessna 180 cannot.
