    Seller Vulnerability

No, but by initiating the process can cause both parties to expend huge outlays of cash. The plaintiff can cause the defendant to spend huge amounts in defending himself regardless if he is innocent or guilty.

Anybody want to buy a nice 310?

260 will give you about a 10k cabin, if you have a tight cabin with no leaks.

It's not "test flights", it's proving runs. All covered in the 8900.1.

    Owner/Operator

What's over the top? It's spelled out COMPLETELY in the 8900.1. Like another poster says, go in prepared and the process flows smoothly. Do you know how many people hire a manual writer, get a generic GOM (or training manual) printed out and send it in to the FAA for approval still in the...

    Belly landing at KPIE

Under the new Enforcement and Compliance philosophy, if someone does an unintentional gear up they will receive remedial training, not a 44709 ride.

Before anyone gets the idea that Part 135 certificates can be bought, they can't. You can buy the company and the assets, and if it includes a Part 135 certificate, you are OK, to a degree. If someone says "Here is my Air Carrier certificate, and all my manuals and paperwork, give me 10K...

    Instrument Practical in aircraft without....

To a degree, yes. But for taking a checkride for an Instrument Rating, the Practical Test Standards does have requirements for the approaches to be used.

    Seller Vulnerability

I agree with most of that. But our society is plagued by the bottom dwellers with law degrees. And these bottom dwellers are all too happy to convince someone that they "have rights" and require "justice"........for a price. If we had a "loser pays" system the bottom dwellers wouldn't be...

Anyone can be sued for anything and everything. Don't live your life in fear of lawyers.

    Cost Sharing Question

The reality is, even if you told them exactly what you did, the worst that would happen would be a talk followed by "don't do that again" and that would end it. The FAA doesn't have the time nor the desire to chase stuff like this.

    Cost Sharing Question

Do whatever you want, don't publicize it and don't do it as a work around of air charter. Common sense prevails.

    I didn't think they'd really do it

Yea, it's not like there's an alternative or anything....

    Spin Zone not gone completely

OK. So why are people here still upset?

    Spin Zone not gone completely

I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything like that, but I just have a question. If the Spin Zone is/was so important to certain people, why not just create a forum somewhere, name it whatever, and continue there?
