Is it bolting to a cast flange on the axle that may vary in thickness by model year?

Truckla -- The world's first Tesla Pickup Truck

Every truck I have owned, I’ve overloaded at least once. It doesn’t take a very large stack of paving stones to overload an old style Ranger. The current F-150 handles the 6,000 lb boat trailer OK, but it doesn’t take a very big tractor to put more than 1500 pounds of sandy soil into the bed.

If it says Boeing I’m not going...

Some quality assurance programs simply ensure you have consistent process, but don’t really address if those processes are any good.

    24 Hours of LeMans

If one wanted to dabble in endurance racing, a more realistic start point for many would be 24 hours of Lemmons. I know of one team with an existing car I could get involved with, but I don’t fit in their car. I could probably find a Crown Vic that would be a comfortable fit, but the next...

    R/C Car project question

Been quite a few years since I did anything with a RC car, but my one recollection is you want something where all the parts are readily available for repair, be it simply worn out dogbones, or crashed A arms.

    You're dead.

No worries here. She doesn’t ask, (unless she is considering one for herself) and at times, has owned more guns than I do.

What is 0 to the power of 0?

I used to know this, and several other oddball limits, but that has been around 25 years ago.

Try hiring for a position where you want one particular silo of deep technical IT knowledge and strong ability to communicate with upper management. These just don’t seem to exist together, and when they do, they are outside the rate we are looking to pay. So guessing which compromise between...

Actually, in some markets, finding a machine shop to do one off work, and not production runs is getting tougher. A relative actually takes some of his small, precision machining jobs to a ratty place in a worn out historical building that looks like it might have been an Art Deco car...

    [N/A] Chernobyl - HBO Miniseries

And it wasn’t just them. Prior to Regan financially breaking the Soviet Union, they had a long term psy-ops to make Americans distrust nuclear power. The benefits of it were seen to too much of an advantage to allow us to develop. Then the best they are building/running at Chernobyl is a...

Would almost wonder if it is cheaper find some used 70s ford junk rear axle to shove in to keep it a roller, or a trailer axle.

First plane to fly without “Flaps”

Maybe the first without moveable aerodynamic surfaces? Wing warping and the LSA wing above all seem to be moveable aerodynamic surfaces to me.

    Exercise— What’s your routine?

I try to get a solid workout at the gym a couple nights a week, with one session with a trainer every other week, but lately it has been tough getting even one session every week in. At least I have been getting alternate exercise in, like tearing out and replacing some of the shrubs out front...

I saw the title, and my mind jumped right to NFA trust. Never mind, nothing to see here.

    Ford 9N Ignition Issues

Tractor brakes are highly over rated, until you need them. I occasionally operate a relatives JD970, and it is pretty rare for me to use the brake, other than as a parking brake. But then again, pretty flat land, and if you throttle back to idle before disengaging the PTO clutch, the finish...

Funny question; go kart as tug

It is likely that the biggest issue with a go cart is that they are usually geared for speed, and aren’t designed for a lot of time getting to speed. So many of them will be slipping their clutch at the speeds that are likely of interest as a tug, which lead to an early clutch death.

    Time lapse photography?

Depending on what video software you use, you should always be able to slow it down 1/2 or 1/4 by throwing out 1/2 or 3/4 of the frames. I usually try to capture twice as often as I think I should, then I can easily edit to twice as fast or twice as slow as I origionally guessed.

Wait, this doesn’t currently have ignition issues? There are air powered nibblers that make quick work of holes like that. Be aware that all nibblers, especially the air ones make a bunch of razor sharp crescents (especially if cutting steel) that will pierce shoe soles and hitch rides to lots...
