    Any one use DD-WRT here?

Excellent point. If there's anything more confusing that LinkSys and D-Link model numbers, I've never met it. I've even run across cases where you're told, "if it's between serial numbers 10000-20000, use this; otherwise, use that."

Yes, it works well. Go to their website and make sure your specific model is supported.

    Interpreting the No-Electrical-System ADS-B Exclusion

Someone may have posted this in another thread, but the FAA has discovered Google Earth. There are several KML files for download. They all disclaim that they shouldn't be used for navigation, but the overlays for ADS-B airspace are very good. Open Google Earth, click File->Open, and load in...

Maybe it’s permanent. Grounding that is.

@denverpilot, I love your attitude. You're still in my prayers.

    Dell Hell

I was afraid they'd try that. You won't get a summons; they aren't gonna sue for that small amount unless they happen to have a presence in your area and want to try small claims. They may try to put a mark on your credit. There's really not much they can do if Amex has settled it, though.

    Real TAS for Planes?

Thanks. I know that. Googling it has given me that same definition over and over. I was a little surprised that none of the answers I found, at Bold Method or anywhere else, went into any detail with actual real-life examples. In specific, I was wondering about the actual *numbers*. How close...

    "The Irishman" and aviation

Heh. The opposite thing happened at our studios when they were filming the radio station scenes with John Travolta for the movie "Trading Paint." We're all digital, all audio-over-IP (AoIP if you're hip) Wheatstone equipment with LED metering. The director thought that was too fancy-looking, so...
