Two very good airports and close to where you want to go. Grand Prairie (KGPM) is the closest to Irving. Dallas Executive (KRBD) works too. Both are very GA friendly.

Looks to me she is plotting not reading? A simple pull of the carb heat on take off, open the door and roll out onto a soft grass strip? Works ever time.

My pet peeve is when you start a story on a overturned plane and don't follow up with all the answers. You have a responsibility to let us know. LOL

I'm not sure what there is to practice on a grass field that makes it worth the risk? I hate taxing on them, you never know what has dug a hole since the last time you were there. I love the places a grass field takes you so its worth the risk of landing on one as long as they are well...

I run every flight through my head probably to the point its unhealthy. Sometimes I'm patting myself on the back and sometimes I'm mentally slapping the back of my head saying what were you thinking. Trever & Tyler (Tech Aero) are very competitive and one of the best around. Gets the planes in and out quick better than most. He has upgraded three panels for me and I would highly recommend him.

The Z06 is a great vette but only comes in a standard. If you are driving it daily and in traffic I would consider a automatic. The Grand Sport has the body panels of the Z06 so it is a good alturnative if you are not racing it.
