Display on 530 small ? I zoom in for traffic and never had any difficulty. Also now there is a dedicated page for traffic only with adjustable range and it shows the only traffic which you need to be aware of.

I dont know about other aircraft but mine says certification date 6/6/2008 which is when my aircraft duly registered with FAA ( purchase date was 5/2008 ) it makes sense
