I wasn't using my cellphone - the passengers (aka the weapons officer and tactical support) were.

I came upon it independently, but cool to know that there are others on POA who have experienced "Airgressing"! Anyway, it does lead to fun and unusual flying experiences. The folks who joined me on these flights are actual former US airforce, so that was really neat.

One last note: this was NOT written for pilots, but rather for the local Ingress community. So some of the terminology is imprecise, the descriptions a little different than they would be if I were writing it for this group in mind, and so on.

LOL. I am ashamed to admit that I've never flown a 152. I did my PPL on a 172 - the idea of being as cozy with my instructor as being in the former would require did not appeal to me.

It's not Alpha, but I have flown my 182 at over 16k, mask and all, for an hour or so, in order to avoid really ugly weather. I'd rather not do that again.

Problem solved! After several calls with Enterprise in Ukiah, they will pick me up at the airport Saturday and take us to their office to pick up the car, then I can leave it back at the airport and they will pick it up from there Monday morning. They will only charge me one day, too...

They are not open on weekends. The Enterprise office at Ukiah IS open so I can pick up a car at KUKI, which is fine. The problem is returning the car later that evening, when their office is closed. I can drop the car off, but not at the airport. And from all my research, I am not comfortable...

How about Ukiah or Garberville?

I would do that, but I'd still need the car to go to and from the camp, which is my bigger problem.
