    Best Twin Engine Under $60k

It depends, 30 year old engines with 2000 hrs could go either way. I'd wait to see if the cam made metal before I tore into it. I don't much like 6 cylinder Lycomings with carbs though.

Big Airline push to Privatize ATC - User Fees

The cost of retirement benefits and the high pay scale is likely what they are trying to address.

Hot props are nice, 2 run out engines is what is probably scaring people away.

    Nukes not covered by insurance...

Oh HELL NO! Not even close, and when deep pockets are looked at, insurance companies are the first place they go. The insurance company ends up on the hook for what the court orders. That's why they specify things in the contract, and even then they get screwed sometimes.

    Vortex Generators for a Car????

You cannot assume that at all. Besides which, if you don't mind an ugly car, you can design out the usefulness. But overall, at road speed the effects are minimal enough it's not worth the production cost. If you want to improve your Prius, you'd put a simple flange on the back.

    Question for the A&Ps

Especially not if you have to buy your tools to do the work as well. $20k in good tools is not difficult to amass.

    Vortex Generators for a Car????

The trick to car airflow is to reduce the vortex off the back, that is your greatest useless drag. VGs have a limited ability to help modify the airflow, especially when you start needing wings for down force. The amount of lift that a VG can provide is far outperformed by downforce appliances...

The Viking, especially with the 520 is one of the noisiest planes I've ridden in because basically you're enclosed in a drumskin. 470 powered Bo is a lot quieter, Travelair quieter yet.

Who has the right of way in this very realistic scenario?

ROW is as easy to understand as a Stoplight. Your left wing has a red light, your right a green. If they see your red light, they give way, if they see green they stand on course and speed. If the are overtaking, the have to stay clear and you have to maintain course and speed till they clear..

What kind of Bonanza is this?

You can have a completely "New" Bonanza, even an S or V, full 2 sided glass panel, perfect paint, new custom interior, factory new engine and modern prop for less than $250k using top end shops to do everything. The problem with that on the market right now is that you can get into a glass SR-22...

Not unless you want to leave the US.

    No primary Tach

I really think the full glass 'primary' engine panels available are one of the best values for what you get, plus it frees up a lot of panel real estate that allows room for for doing a dual sided panel, one with a IFR legal six pack, one with an EXP SVT PFD.
