    Resurrect old A/C?

Ask your kids first. People in the back of mine said it made a big difference back there even though I couldn't feel anything up front.

I agree. I also think there’s a difference between a warrantee and fixing a botched repair. In other words, I can agree with his short warrantee, but not with not standing behind his work. But I’m not a lawyer.

Valid point. But I think the guy's point that without a total overhaul there could be something out of his control that's causing the problem is also valid.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how the repair could be the problem. Not ruling it out, just doesn't seem on the surface that it's the repair shops "fault" that the design keeps failing.

Jim got the shaft. Twice. Sorry to hear about this Jim. Why are you forced to tear down again? The amount of metal created?

    Corsair Replia broken

I have such mixed feelings about this. It's cool in many ways, but man, it's a bit too much of a death trap for my liking.

Mechanic in Annual Inspection Replaced ELT that hadn't expired and charged me for it

I want to say if 380 is working you up this much maybe aircraft ownership isn’t for you. But I also want to say if an elt battery is costing you 380 every 2 years you need a new elt or a new mechanic.

    Fastest wheelbarrow on earth!

That's stupid. I had a wheelbarrow in my lance once at > 140 knots. That's as much a "fast" wheelbarrow as the one in the link is.

    Insurance cost of Milton

You really think with the cost of insurance these days people are paying for it on unairworthy aircraft in the hopes of a payout? I don’t think so.

    Insurance cost of Milton

Yeah. Like Nashville Tennessee. Big hurricane target. They should pay. I think it’s funny that you think insurance companies aren’t charging more for at risk locations.

    Staying current without a medical?

I know it exists, but I can find it quickly because it’s pinned, therefore the pin is effective.

    Florida in Crosshairs Again…. Milton

Waiting for the sun to come up. Heavy winds at my place, about 70 knots, which is pretty high for as far inland as we are. A foot of rain easily. I had some minor damage I’m aware of. Power has been out since 7pm last night.

    Disqualifying TSA question(s)

man, I think the inability to focus long enough to understand what multiple people have told you a dozen times is probably an even bigger blocker to your becoming a pilot. But iacra and tsa! As has been said multiple times, those aren’t the problem. The medical is. Here’s a question back...

FEMA blocked Starlink delivery flight to Western NC

The narrative that FEMA is well organized and efficient doesn’t stand up to even superficial scrutiny.
