    Bought one nosewheel tire, looks good. Sadly, the inner tube had a hidden defect, but giving them top grades for customer service, a replacement is on its way.

    Aggressive tread vs slick tires. The aggressive treads actually have less rubber (much of the tread is air). The slicks, much more rubber. Slick as in highway type tires. Does this mean the slicks last longer? (More rubber = longer time to wear that rubber down - also, smaller contact area...

    [NA] Tourism; the Alps

    ‘When’ is always difficult- I want to avoid crowds of summer, but if the winter weather encroached because I went too early or late, that would also reduce enjoyment. We went to Norway in early September and it worked out, just barely - there were some cold & rainy days.
