Why developers prefer Apple to Android

Back office, infrastructure, desktop..agree 100%. Mobile, not so much...you only need to look at the Surface, and WM to draw this conclusion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why developers prefer Apple to Android

As a developer and CIO, I would disagree with 90% of this post. Open has its drawbacks, particularly in an Enterprise environment. I want it locked down. Not everyone hates XCode. I've used successfully to write Titanium modules to interface with Bluetooth scanners, RFID readers, and laser...

Why developers prefer Apple to Android

Regardless of economics, the iOS ecosystem is more stable and predictable for complex apps than android. Far more. Flame away... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tell me about the Diamond DA40

Love the DA40. I've flown both steam and glass, 100 or so hours combined. I can't think of any negatives. Great fuel burn for the performance, dirt simple, love the stick, comfortable seats, great visibility, decent IFR platform, room for 3 adults and luggage, easier to land than a 172. I...

    New Information On MH 370

U.S. officials have an "indication" the missing Malaysia Airlines jetliner may have crashed in the Indian Ocean and is moving the USS Kidd to the area to begin searching. "We have an indication the plane went down in the Indian Ocean," the senior official said. Translation - Our top secret...

    We gonna talk about BitCoin?

I'd bet a BitCoin that over the course of the previous year, it's "founder" figured out a way to monetize the holdings into offshore, island bank accounts. He's probably sipping champagne, at 40,000 feet, winging his way to a predetermined, isolated island retreat somewhere without extradition...

How To Buy A New Car

Step 1 - Test drive one locally. Step 2 - Use Cars.com. Punch in your filters, and search in a 250-500 mile radius. Some dealers are VERY competitive. Sort prices from Low to High and review each listing to see if you are getting the options you want. Step 3 - Email your narrowed list...

    Firemen Refuse To Render Aid

FF Union coupled with DC Home Rule = Fail. There are few if any more corrupt and inept local governments in the nation. The population of DC is simply unable to manage themselves. It should have gone back to the Fed. in the 90s during the insolvency period. Think Marion Barry.... Sent from...

    NA: pothole damage

Yes and yes. You "might" get a specialist to straighten the wheel, but not always. Last time I checked, this service was $150. The tire is unsafe and un-repairable. New factory wheel on a Jetta TDI was $450. Tire was $190. 2 new factory wheels on a G35 Coupe was $1,800 (took out one side)...

    Part 135 Operators - Cincinnati

CVG - MDT showing 3 hrs 15 min, 1 stop, one way. Not ideal, but not bad either. Unless you are billing it back, I don't know how a company would justify. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Part 135 Operators - Cincinnati

You'll struggle to find 135 single engine. Even in a Navajo, or small turbo prop twin, the costs are going to be prohibitive. Based on previous experience, $2K - $3K. My company bought a Citation a few years back. It is cheaper than 135 or fractional 91. Good Luck. Sent from my iPad using...

    Cessna single retractable gear

^^ This ^^ I owned a '79 182RG for 7 years in a 2 person partnership. I bought in after the AD on the pivot assemblies was performed (SEB90) in 2001. The system performed well with no problems. We were putting 200-250 hours per year on it. In the 6 years since I sold out, they haven't...
