Hello fellow pilots. I'm a partner in a Cessna 172 and we're installing an Electronics International CGR-30P engine monitor in conjunction with a Garmin GNC355. Does anyone have experience with routing the fuel flow lead from the CGR-30P to the GNC355. Specifically, from the CGR-30P fuel flow lead (pin 19), which pin is used for connection to the GNC355? Is fuel flow data even usable on the GNC355? I'm referencing GARMIN'S GNC355 STC Maintenance Manual (Page 5-29)Table 5-7 J3551 Connector Pinout. Thanks for any and all advice.

It should work on any RS232 port on the 355. You should ideally have an RS232 Out to an RS232 In going both ways.

Any of the RS-232 ports on the GNC will suffice. On the CGR-30P, you would use either RS-232 Port 3 or RS-232 Port 4. It is a cross connect (i.e. "In" on one device goes to the "Out" on the other device, and vice versa).

Thanks Jon and Jesse! I should be at the point to do the connection in a couple of days.
