Say, was that the same plane we saw bouncing down the runway at Gaston's – the one you jokingly called the "clown plane"? I hope it gets restored.
Yes it is.

Have another one of Thursday....

Took my wife up for a ride in the Champ. Winds on the ground were ~15G25 kts, which made taxiing a bit of a strategy game. I carried a little extra airspeed in the climb due to a LLWS airmet, encountered some mild burbles of turbulence, then we found ourselves inside a glassy smooth airmass moving 40+ kts out of the west by the time we reached 2500 AGL. Trimmed it to fly hands-off, flew outbound to the east a bit, and then kicked myself as we turned around and clawed our way back upstream with 40 knots of groundspeed. She had declined the seat nearest the heater (afraid of the PTT button I guess,) and was straight up not having a good time by the time we landed. Eventually, her legs and feet thawed out and she started talking to me again.

She always wants to be the big spoon. Well? Wish granted.

A nice flight last week to test out cockpit gap seals before the bottom fell out of my thermometer. Cockpit was cool and comfy at around 20F OAT but landing with 21G30 made me sweat.
