Might be able to make the trip from NO to Miami in record time, at flight idle, lol.
Well this makes sense because I finally got my oil leak fixed and took the plane out this morning for the first time in a couple months, into the headwind...Here’s the wind forecast for 10K this weekend, I can’t ever remember seeing 75kt winds this low except in tropical storms down south.

Garmin pilot tells me a Saturday morning flight from KMAI to KCHS at an altitude of 9500 would have a 74 knot tailwind. That would be fun!
