Happy new year!
 
HNY to everyone! This has been the year of everything breaking in my life. The HOA made me replace a driveway section. I had to replace the roof. The fridge died. Carpet had to be replaced. I installed a tankless water heater before my 20 year tank heater crapped the bed. Toilet internals on four tanks seemed to fail at the same time. My 2007 Camry hybrid battery is throwing about to die codes. Finally, my home server running 24x7x365 power supply gave up the ghost which means my MythTv server is down so the wife isn't happy. Hopefully 2025 means less breakage!
 
Eric Church. Awesome if you're watching CBS 2025 celebration. He got his start playing at Woodlands BBQ which was a favorite of mine when transiting the area.

You are in good company.

On 23-24 Dec 2024 I spent 13.5 hours in the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. Heart attack, appendicitis and a few other things all ruled out. More test scheduled next week.

01 Jan 2025 I am in the shower all soaped up, then the water shut off, and did not come back on.

A great ending, and beginning, looking forward to what comes next...:yesnod:

Personally, yes. Multiple unexpected expenses, regulatory/business headaches, all leading to off the charts stress. Plus the negative impact on my flying time.
