I don't have an answer for you
but I would suggest that you consider if a suction cup is a great solution. Over the years I've tried a good number of applications using suction cup mounts. My experience has been mostly on glass and not acrylic, but I doubt that matters much if at all... I've tried it for gadgets in cars such as cell phone holders, GPS holders, etc. as well as window-mounted thermometers. Wreath hangers and other similar things. Shower caddy's and shampoo dispensers, and probably several other things taht I can't think of at the moment. Most All fail. No matter what care I take to clean the surface, etc... they fail. I've even tried adhesive instead of moisture in the cup when applying... and that has worked up to the ability fo the adhesive... and often that doesn't work either, because it's hard to get things to stick to glass.
I'm not so sure that I'd want such a big and unwieldy contraption like that falling on my head as I touch down....or at any other critical phase of flight.
