This is what winter looks like on a Toasty 15* Fahrenheit 4 hour day. Until next March the days are not much longer then 4-5 hours. Salt water freezes about 15*F so it's tough to get Mail/Supplies out to the towns that only have docks.

Some people (especially me) just have a severe winter allergy. I’m not denying that snow and ice crystals look pretty and all, just that damn allergy you know lol.
 
25 gusting 35 in light blowing snow today, dressed very well for summer. Survived the preflight. Climbed up into the clouds, and I think I found out where the snow was coming from. I fear that rumors of winter coming may in fact be true.

Some of the best flying of the year around here is in the winter.
Better believe it! Just swapped out the summer emergency gear for the winter emergency gear in both the cherokee and the car. None of this density altitude crap, no heat stroke waiting to take off, incredibly calm air.
