O-320 OH Cost

How much would an overhaul be for an O-320 if I need at least a new crankshaft? Would rather a good engine shop than a field overhaul, doesn't need to be factory. How much for just a bottom end? Understand there are ranges here and other surprises could pop up.

Call Western Skyways for a current estimate, but ours was an exchange O-320 for ~$35K in January of this year. I seem to recall $5000 core charge if the crank wasn’t serviceable on the engine you shipped back.

Just did an O360-A4M through Columbia. It was $33k.

Many O/H shops won't do just the bottom end. If they do agree to just O/H the bottom, they won't log it as an engine O/H.. price will be more than 25k for complete

I asked this question to Barrett a couple of weeks ago. $28K (IIRC) with new cylinders, but assuming my case and crank can be yellow tagged. That price is with no accessories.
