Anyone heard any updates about when MOSAIC and the new sport pilot medical rule are going to go into effect?

What’s the new medical rule under MOSAIC?

I think 3-6 months of 2025 before it’s enacted.

Like many things, it's always "next year". Or, in software engineer parlance, "Real soon now."
 
There is no "new medical rule" in MOSAIC. What MOSAIC does (among other things) is to expand the size of aircraft a Sport Pilot can fly without a medical.

My guess is that the final MOSAIC rule will be announced at Oshkosh '25.

Were you referring to the changes to BasicMed operations? I think that was supposed to be in effect by mid-November 2024, i.e., 6 months after it was passed by Congress.
