Trump Force 2 busts Prohibited Airspace

Interesting, I flew through some of that airspace about 30 years ago, no phone call needed. Left traffic pattern from the southeast, vectored arrival.

Landed a Cessna 172 at Washington National. Just for the logbook entry!

Wasn't it established post 9/11? Or was that just the larger restricted zone?
 
The Capitol, Mall, and White House were always restricted, but not enforced vigorously. My flight was radar vectored, so ATC was responsible for the incursion, as well as the reporting, so no inclination on their part to notice.

I enjoyed the sight seeing from the air.
