Here are further thoughts on the landing spot and escape route of the hijacker of Northwest Flight 305 on November 24, 1971:

Comment received from a retired FBI agent and former head of the Norjak case: "Your facts are spot on".
 
Another comment from former head of Norjak case (and I'm not sure what he meant): "Of course any escape plan that has Cooper much further south of Tacoma wasn't made by Cooper."

Maybe he means “your facts aren’t spot on.”
 
As an alternative to the "Jubitz scenario": thoughts on the "Tena Bar scenario", regarding the landing spot and escape of the hijacker of Northwest Flight 305.

Interesting, Ted Braden was working as a tractor trailer driver out of Vancouver at the time.

More on the "Milwaukie scenario" ... here's a schematic of the Victor-23 flight corridor, southbound from the Battle Ground VORTAC for 20 nautical miles on the 195 radial ...

One FACT we know for sure. DB didn't escape with all the money........since a kid found some of it in the sand on the beach in Kalama.
 
Sources close to Don Nyrop who was NW president at the time pretty much suspect they gave him a roman candle.
 
For those who are ready to consider an even more contrarian scenario (vis-a-vis the FBI's narrative): here's the USGS map of the Lake Oswego quadrangle at 1:24000 scale, with the approximate flight path of Northwest 305 on 11.24.1971 (based on USAF radar plot), and possible descent paths for the hijacker to land in or near either the Willamette River or Oswego Lake.

In either event, we can conjecture that if he became separated from some of the money (intentionally or otherwise), it could find its way to Tena Bar.

The descent paths are based on exit at 10,000 feet AMSL, canopy deployment at 8,500 feet AMSL, 230lb weight under canopy, descent rate 23 ft/sec, and wind speeds and directions as per National Weather Service, KPDX, 2000-2100 PST on 11.24.1971.

Another contrarian narrative of the hijacking of Northwest Flight 305: the "Oswego scenario". It is consistent with the flight path as plotted by the US Air Force; with the radio communications between the flight crew and Northwest; with the money found at Tena Bar in 1980; and with the diatoms detected on one of the $20 bills from Tena Bar.
