That's a rookie sinkhole.
This happened a few blocks from my house in Munich:

(killed three bus riders. A worker from the tunnel boring company frantically tried to get the bus driver to move the bus away from the collapse zone. Bus driver refused to move as it would violate policy to drive through a red light....)
