and Utley with two home runs. And the Bombers have never been shut out of game 1 in a world series.

(but it's only game 1)

Pitcher's stop of the ground ball will be in every highlight film for 10 years. Incredible.

yea not only did he make a miracle catch, but made the most chilled out relaxed throw to first you've ever seen. cool character...
 
Not a shut out but Oh what a game and yes Cliff Lee is one cool dude. Wayne is right that is highlight material even has a chance at and ESPY!

If Ray Walston ever pops up and offers me a chance to take the Orioles to the Series over the Yankees, I might be singing "Goodbye, Old Girl" to Fran (although I'm thinking I'd wanna become Brad Pitt rather than Tab Hunter). Damn Yankees! Go Phils! Where's Lola?
 
Now you're tugging at my memories. I played "Baseball Commissioner" in one production of Damn Yankees, and "Rocky" in a production by a different company.
The second was more fun because Rocky was one of the four players who got to sing the fabulous "You Gotta Have Harrr -arrr -arrr - arrt" song. (Yeah, I know the spelling is not correct). I hope the World Series goes 7 games; it could be one of the best ever.

I was looking for the inevitable "SUCK," which surely follows YANKEES as day follows night, blonde follows buxom, and Phillies follows World Series Champion.

Then I figured out what the dashed lines were for.

Should have known, coming from a DownEaster. Gotta be a Sox fan.
 
The Phils are very impressive. Now they have to stay cool, especially Pedro. The Yankees are a very dangeous team.
