X-Plane creator's 850 hp Evolution

I was on the X-Plane site today and stumbled across Austin Meyer's (the creator of X-Plane flight sim and Xavion) blog. On it he had a lot of information about the Lancair Evolution he built a couple of years ago. I think I looked at this plane at OSH but didn't know the back story. Flying along at .5 Mach at 27,000...seems like a nice ride!

Austin has an iPad app that does almost the same thing (runway finder), minus the integration with the autopilot.
