What would you do? Have a Cherokee that needs radio and ADSb out. Everything is old narco. Com120, com810, At150, nav121,nav122. Softcomm 4 place intercom. The com120 is nothing but static. The 810 works, but it's super quiet to the point you can't make out what's said. There's a fair amount of interference but not horrible. All I really want to do with this is get it compliant and get a functional radio. The transponder works, but I'm not sure a tailbeacon coupled with the ancient transponder would be the best idea. Looking for future problems? So I'm thinking of a stratus esg for the adsb solution as well as transponder. As far as radios, probably not planning on making this an ifr platform. Just something fun to play around locally in. I've contemplated having the shop see if they can repair if it's just a poor connection, but also thinking of the par200b.
Thoughts? Spend my money, but let's try and keep it reasonable. The one shop I'm thinking of using is not a Garmin dealer, but did have some used Garmin takeouts.
