Everything Offends Me
I think the only one who likes my new house more than me is my dog....Piper spends hours just lying in the grass (this is the first time he's ever lived with grass, and the first time he's gotten to really just hang out in the grass since Gastons '06).

I wish I could spend all day lying in the grass.

Piper has grown into a fine looking dog. Is the Alpha still unabated in him?

I was just thinking...through your posts we have all watched since Piper was a pup without a name and now to this. Doesn't that mean he's the POA communal pet? It would be a first.

Every once in a great while, he tries to show some Alpha, but as soon as I recognize it, I correct it. Its been so long now, I can't even think of the last thing he tried to do.

LOL, I like the idea of the communal pet thing. Does that mean I can start taking donations for pet food? :D

Once I put the dog door in and Pancho could come and go as she pleases I sometimes found her sleeping out on the deck on warm sunny days. When she saw me she ran inside like she thought she was in trouble. :P

When I was mowing the lawn, and we were working on the flower bed, earlier this week she went out through the open gate and laid down to snooze in the newly mowed grass out front.

I had to rush her to the emergency vet soon after but that's another saga. She's fine now. She just wanted to separate Daddy from more of his money.
